Our engagements
At Termont, we are taking concrete measures to reduce our ecological footprint, in particular by renewing our fleet of production equipment. This renewal is part of our long-standing commitment to promoting environmentally friendly practices.

Termont has a roadmap to decarbonize its operations. Some of our equipment is already electric, and we are making efforts to make the transition for the remaining equipment.
Furthermore, Quebec's electricity being 98% green, electrification will not be a shift in emissions but a reduction!
Although we have this ambitious objective in mind, we are also implementing initiatives to reduce the diesel consumption of our equipment. In 2023, we were able to reduce our GHG emissions by 1,000 tonnes!
No discharge is made into the St. Lawrence River, in compliance with current regulations.
We favor biodegradable products in our purchases, and responsible use of our assets.
