Procedures for truckers

To access the Termont terminals, truckers must follow a pre-established process, appointments must be made in advance to gain visibility and allow the terminal to operate optimally.

Truck drivers must be equipped with:

  • Mandatory wearing of PPE throughout the terminal
  • RFID tags (compulsory from May 27, 2024.
  • Port access card

Procédure de service

If you have to get out of your truck, be alert to the movements of heavy vehicles in the yard and never place yourself in their blind spots. If you have no reason to get out of your vehicle, you should stay inside.

  1. Wait for material handling equipment at the indicated location.
  2. After service, head towards the exit.
  3. For an empty container, stay in the vehicle and only inspect upon exit.

Service procedure

1/ Be visible and behind your trailer to assist in unloading/loading.
2/ After loading, secure the locking pins at the output.
3/ Avoid walking or driving on the Transtainers route.
4/ Do not walk behind the piles where the Transtainers circulate.
5/ Maintain a safe distance when handling containers.

Take advantage of some tips to ensure your time on the terminal goes smoothly. If you have a question, or need additional information, do not hesitate to contact us!

  1. Profitez des plages horaires moins occupées! Les terminaux sont ouverts de 6h a 22h, et et il y a généralement moins de traffic après 17h.
  2. Prenez votre rendez-vous et payez les frais avant de vous rendre au terminal. Vous éviterez ainsi de devoir attendre.
  3. Respecter en tout temps les règles et la signalisation.
